Undergraduates can volunteer, receive directed research credit, or develop a project funded through the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (see other opportunities here). Students are expected to have an excellent work ethic, ability to work ~10 hours per week, and a genuine interest in developing an independent research project. Undergraduate students interested in working in the Fixen lab can contact me at kfixen [at] Please include a short statement about why you are interested in working in the lab, your expected graduation date, your GPA, and one reference.
